The day starts at 9am with a lovely mass.

Mrs T is away on Monday and Tuesday but the wonderful, talented and incredibly patient Mrs Schuster will be teaching in Room 5 (I wouldn't trust just any old body with my precious class). I will be back in town on Tuesday night but have a big meeting on Wednesday morning.  I'll be looking forward to seeing you all again by morning tea time on Wednesday. Have a great week. Be nice to Mrs Schuster (I know you will be).

There have been a few reports of strep throat doing the rounds at St Mary's - and in Room 5. Strep throat can appear just like a normal cold or flu but, left untreated, can have serious complications. It needs to be diagnosed by a doctor and treated with antibiotics. If your child is unwell - please get them checked out. Strep throat can be spread easily in a busy classroom. The ministry of health recommends that a child with Strep throat be kept home until well and/or until they have had antibiotoc treatment for at least 24 hours.  Thanks for your help.
